This spacious open-air restaurant on a field of sand at the edge of the sea makes for a super-casual, super-relaxing all-day destination. Its owner loves her customers and doesn't mind if you occupy a table for hours, mixing light drinking and eating with refreshing dips in the sea, sunbathing and short snorkeling excursions, perhaps a stroll along the beach. There's some heady brain coral near the point, and the current is safe if you stay close to shore.

There are plenty of leaning palms to curl up under with a book, just take your pick (avoid loaded coconut trees, as falling fruit from them kills some 400 people a year in the Caribbean). If you've had a lot to drink, we encourage you to get naked, run up and down the beach flapping your arms and shouting, "Houston, we have trouble!" Seriously, stay out of the agua because drunks drown.

At Yarisori. it is always advisable to inquire about the catch of the day, if you are in the mood for seafood, and to order it with coconut rice, which is the yummy traditional style found in other parts of Panama but not so common in Bocas del Toro).
